Programme 04 · for agencies

You lose pitches for reasons nobody tells you.

Advertisers rarely say why an agency was dropped. We run their selections, so we hear it. For a full day we put those reasons next to your own approach: which pitches you take on, who you bring, what you ask and how you follow up.

Format

Full day workshop, interactive

What you get

Four things you leave with.

How advertisers actually decide

The criteria that really weigh in a selection, in the order they weigh. Rarely the order of the brief.

An honest read on your own pitches

We put your pitches from the past year next to those criteria: where you won, where you were dropped and where nobody ever told you.

Better questions, asked earlier

What you ask before you say yes to an invitation, and what tells you to decline.

One approach for the whole team

The same roles, the same preparation and the same follow-up, including the pitch you are not in.

How it works

A full day, four moves.

You send us your pitches from the past year beforehand. That way the day is about your numbers, not about examples.

1

Beforehand: your pitch history

Won, lost, walked away from. We prepare the day on your own material.

2

The other side of the table

How a selection actually runs, from longlist to decision, and what gets an agency dropped in each round.

3

Your approach on the table

We put your own pitch approach next to those criteria. What you skip, what you do too late, and what you are better off stopping.

4

You leave with an approach

On paper: when you say yes, who is in the room, what you ask and how you follow up.

What you walk away with

Fewer pitches, more of them won.

A pitch you do not enter costs you nothing. A pitch you lose costs a week of your best people.

Book this programme
  • A clear read on how an advertiser arrives at their choice
  • An honest diagnosis of your own pitch approach, on your own pitches
  • A threshold that lets you decline an invitation
  • One approach that everyone who pitches applies the same way
Good to know

Questions we get a lot.

Who should be in the room?

The people who lead the pitches: the founder, new business, the strategist, the client lead. Eight at most.

Do you work on a live pitch?

No. This is about your approach, not about next week’s pitch. We do not write your deck and we are not in the actual pitch.

What is the difference with Perfect your credentials?

Perfect your credentials is three hours on your credentials deck. How to Pitch is a full day on your entire pitch approach, from qualification to follow-up.

What does it cost?

2,500 euro, excluding VAT. A fixed price, like all seven programmes.

Part of a set

Seven programmes, seven fixed prices.

This is one of seven fixed-scope programmes for agencies. Book one on its own, or build a sequence.
